New Joint Session Clerk

Published in Church News

Ginnie Wilkie has just taken on the duties of Joint Session Clerk at Pitlochry Church of Scotland.  Born in London, Ginnie moved to Perthshire in 1972, when she married her husband David.  Living and working in Rannoch, Ginnie soon learnt about village life, and living in the “wilds” of Scotland.  In the year 2000 Ginnie and David moved to Pitlochry, to live, but Ginnie who had worked as a school secretary at Rannoch, then took on a part-time job as Secretary of Clan Donnachaidh, situated at Bruar.  Finally retiring 3 years ago, she has been involved in the Church in many guises:  as an Elder, as a member of Presbytery, Guild Convener and the Church’s Worship Group.  “This is a new challenge for me”, she said, “having to be responsible for Kirk Session Meetings, taking minutes, organising church events and helping our Minister, Mary, in every possible way”.

Best wishes and prayers will be very much appreciated.
