The Sunday Club meets in the Tryst most Sunday mornings during the second part of morning worship. The children are in Church for the first part of the service and usually leave after the second hymn. Some of us sit together at the front while others sit with parents or grandparents.
At the moment we are a small group so we all worship and study together – like a family.
During the school term we work on “Spill the Beans” a lectionary based resource prepared by a group of Church of Scotland ministers. Each week there is a wonderful selection of ideas for worship, prayers, discussions, crafts and games to suit all ages. There is more information on: http://spillbeans.org.uk.
During the school holidays the programme is more relaxed and children, of all ages, have supervised activities in the Tryst during the second part of the service.
On special occasions the children remain in Church for the whole service and can take an active part or work quietly in a corner.
Babies and young children are welcome to come and play – with or without their parents.
All visiting children are most welcome to join us at any time.
The Sunday Club co-ordinator is Linda Gaul and she is ably assisted by parents and other members of the congregation.
Linda will be happy to answer any questions you may have on the ministry to children in Pitlochry Church of Scotland.
Messy Church meets in the Tryst Hall and Lounge on Fridays every 4 to 6 weeks from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
We have messy craft activities, usually on a theme; story time, a prayer, and share a meal together. All are welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
